Talib Kweli on Bourdain’s ‘No Reservations’ | (2012 Video)

Grand opening, grand closing. Anthony Bourdain, the posthumous host of the perennial food travel show, ‘No Reservations’ is wrapping up his series with a trip home. Bourdain decided to head to Brook Brook Brooklyn and hang out with the BK’s native tongue, Talib Kweli Greene at the crazy exclusive Blanca restaurant. I honestly didn’t expect this collaboration, but appreciated the sound bytes on the gentrification of the worlds most popular borough and also Kwe’s observation on what hip-hop looks like in 2012 (Shout out to all those that  rocked the Tommy Hilfiger painter pants with the hook on the side). The show airs Monday on Travel Channel. For a more in depth interview and look at Blanca restaurant in Bushwick please click the link.

Paz y comida,
