Hailing from Las Vegas, JGivens, is an artist who has been making an impact for a few years now. His music is quite different than what one might expect from the city of “sin”.

Can’t Say by JGivens is a track that perfectly expresses what I mean by my tag line, “more than music”. This song is so emotional, fitting that it was written during his journey to the Middle East. Can’t Say is a beautifully unique snapshot into the life of a Christian living in a country wherein Christianity is under attack and Christians are being persecuted. The production by Evil Needle (ironic?) provides the canvas for Jeremiah to paint his picture. In my opinion a masterpiece was created. I look forward to hearing more from JGivens.

theBreax | Never Arrive feat. Lecrae and J.R.

theBreax, Ruslan, Beleaf and MicB, released their first LP, Never Arrive, last week – which made it to #3 on the iTunes hip hop charts.  This video features Christian hip hop’s man of the hour and recent participant in BET’s Hip Hop Cypher, Lecrae and crooner J.R..  What a great track to release as a first video, Ruslan definitely holds things down with the first verse, encouraging the listener to stay tuned.  Lecrae is polished and his growth over the years is evident.  This video will convince anyone on the fence to go out, or online, and cop the album, Never Arrive.
