Swimming against the current of the image-heavy emphasis in modern media, Soul Anchor Media stands upon the understanding that the written word is still powerful and useful in music and in discussing music–we’d like to go so far as to claim the written word as the most powerful tool in one’s tool belt when creating and sharing music.
S.A.M. exists to support San Diego’s Hip Hop music scene through intentional interviews, allowing artists to further their messages/missions and through purposeful album reviews, discussing and promoting quality SD Hip Hop.
